Omorfo Industrial of America Limited Warranty

OMORFO INDUSTRIAL oil lubricated reciprocating air compressors are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 2 (two) years and 1 (one) year from the date of sale on the remaining items. 

Gas Engine driven and Oil Free compressors are warranted for 1 (one) year on pumps and remaining items. Proof of purchase must be provided by the user to receive service under warranty. This warranty is extended to original purchaser for use of the OMORFO INDUSTRIAL product (only) and is not transferable.

Reciprocating Compressors are warranted as follows:

1. OMORFO INDUSTRIAL oil lubricated rotary air compressor airends are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 5 (five) years.

2. Electric motors supplied on Omorfo Industrial equipment are warranted by the original motor manufacturer, for a period of 3 years. Omorfo Industrial Compressor Motor Warranties are administered by the respective motor manufacturer or the manufacturer’s authorized repair center.

3. Remaining components are covered under warranty for a period of 5 (five) years.

4. Wear and tear components such as air/oil filters, separator elements, valve springs, seals/o-rings, etc. are not covered under the warranty as they are maintenance items. For the full list of wear-and-tear items, please contact Omorfo Industrial

 

Warranty Term

    Please familiarize and read carefully the compressor section under “Warranty” located on the Owner’s manual.

To validate the Warranty and safely operate the equipment, it is essential to use genuine NON-DETERGENT OMORFO INDUSTRIAL LUBRICANT for reciprocating compressors and OMORFO INDUSTRIAL SYNTHETIC LUBRICANT for Rotary Screw compressors as well as genuine OMORFO INDUSTRIAL replacement filters and parts.

    The end user is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, operation and specific documentation of the pressure vessel, which should be carried out in accordance with local legislation of each country.

 

Where to repair product under Warranty

    Only the Omorfo Industrial Authorized Retail Store where the product was purchased can provide warranty services. Any service performed by a non-authorized service person, voids the warranty. Engines must be taken to the proper factory authorized service center, Honda, Kohler, Robin.

 

What is covered under Warranty

Materials, parts and labor to repair the product are covered by this warranty.

 

What is not covered under Warranty

    Defects and damages from failure to perform factory suggested maintenance, improper installation, excessive wear and tear from harsh environments, and rental use. Freight is not covered under warranty. Any loss of use from “shop time” is not covered by this warranty. Normal maintenance as outlined in the Owner’s manual must be adhered to.  Routine maintenance items are not covered under warranty replacement.

 

Warranty Limitations

    Labor expenses – 4 hours per claim. Liability is limited to repair or replacement of the product found defective free of charge, only one trip charge will be covered unless it is pre-approved by Omorfo Industrial warranty team.

 

How to place a claim

    The refund will be made after the Warranty Claim Application (WCA) form is correctly filled submitted and approved. The WCA form must be signed by the user, confirming the service was performed and then sent via email to warranty@omorfoindustrial.com with the respective proof of purchase (copy of the end user invoice or receipt). Omorfo Industrial of America will refund the labor and travel expenses by check or credit on account and the parts and/or components will be shipped free of charge via ground transportation. The Repair Center has 90 days to send the WCA form. All WCA without date, missing or illegible information and 90 days old or more will be rejected.

 

Owner Responsibilities

    It is the owner’s responsibility to read and understand the operation manual for the unit and make certain his personnel are familiar with the correct operating procedures. After start-up, the customer is responsible for performing necessary routine maintenance procedures based on the operating conditions and in accordance with Omorfo Industrial recommendations.  Under warranty claims, owner may be asked to show proof of such during the investigation of any subsequent claim.

    The key to prompt and effective warranty administration and customer satisfaction is thorough investigation and reporting of operating conditions, maintenance records and all related issues.

    Problems should be discussed with the customer and all details and circumstances reviewed to determine if the product is within the warranty period. The product should then be inspected for cause of complaint to determine if the warranty may apply. Replacement parts transportation cost is not covered by warranty statement.

RETURNS

Return policy for consumer reciprocating compressors are accepted for a period of 14 (fourteen) days after delivery. Returns are not accepted for industrial/commercial-grade compressors unless significant manufacturing defects are present.
